The Advocate partnered with Lightswitch Video to produce the award winning Mardi Gras for All Y’all – a 3 part, 9 hour event.
With only 3 months to prepare, Lightswitch and the Advocate coordinated over 150 shoots with local crews to produce 3 feature length documentaries highlighting the music, culture, food, and history of New Orleans and Mardi Gras.
Featuring guests like Hoda Kotb, Emeril Lagasse, Jimmy Buffett and more, this event was watched by over 1.6mm viewers and viewed in 105 countries.
